How do I enroll my child?

Please contact us with your information and to schedule a free screening. We will provide you with the necessary paperwork via e-mail to enroll your child.


Do you accept insurance?

No, we do not accept private insurance at this time. Full payment is due in order to complete registration. We do, however, provide you with a daily bill for speech therapy which can be submitted to your insurance for possible reimbursement.


How will my child eat lunch?

All children a responsible for bringing their own lunch and snack.


Can my child attend for half the day?

Yes, but only in the case that a session does not fill. Please note that your child will not participate in all the daily activities. There are no guarantees as to which activities will occur while your child is in attendance. There are two options in regard to half day camp:

  • Pay our half day rate of $1,000 per session. You will be placed on a waiting list and if the session does not fill by May31st, your child will be added to the roster. If the session fills you will be issued a 100% refund.
  • Pay our full day rate of $1,700. This ensures your child has a spot in the camp. If the camp fills your child can attend full day or half day but no refund (partial or otherwise) will be issued if your child attends half day. If the session does not fill, we will return the difference to you ($700).


Do you offer transportation?

No. We do not provide transportation at this time.


Do you provide before and after care?

No. We do not provide before and after care at this time. If you would like to set up a car pool, please let us know and we can pass your information along to other parents in your child’s session.


Do you offer payment plans?

No. We, unfortunately, do not have any payment plans available at this time.


Will I be provided with a progress report?

Yes. Progress reports can be completed upon request. There is a charge of $150 per report.


What are STAAR Buddies?

Each participant is assigned a one-on-one or shared STAAR Buddy who spends their day supporting your child.STAAR buddies are trained college interns majoring in speech-language pathology.


How many children will be in my child’s group?

Classes will include no more than 12 children. Your child will be placed in small groups of no more than 6 children for rotation through fun (and secretly therapeutic) daily activities.


Does my child need to be able to self-toilet (be potty trained)?

Yes, all children must be able to independently use to the bathroom.


What is your refund policy?

We do not offer refunds so please be certain of your summer plans before you register
